Already at our 25th anniversary we allowed ourselves the luxury as a saxquartet to live out an extension of our core competencies as a sax ensemblewith bass/drums.
After "25 years of joy and fun", "Saxofour celebrating the Joy of Life!" is
simply one of the following chapters of a long musician friendship in which
the quality of putting the ensemble on a higher level than one's own ego is
truly lived out.
Everyone has opened his treasure chest and again conjured out new
compositions, each in his own distinctive way, just as we have been doing for
29 years in the spirit of the sunshine of variety.
Robert Riegler (bass) and Wolfi Rainer (drums) are truly crazy enough to put
themselves in the studio and on stage with 4 sax players, and we enjoy their
incomparable way of dealing with our music.
We are still far away from the end of our possibilities for sure, about exactly
